Alexandria Old Town
Is one of the oldest cities in America, in fact, it predates the American Revolution. There are row houses in Old Town built in the 1700s in fact Captains Row, a cobblestone street between South Union and South Lee boasts some of the oldest Federal-style homes in town.
Alexandria has been home to many famous people in American history. The Gadsby Tavern hosted George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison & John Adams.
The King Street Metro and free King Street trolley are convenient ways to travel in Old Town Alexandria.
There are water taxis and cruise boats on the Potomac River for easy travel to National Harbor in Maryland. Old Town Alexandria features a vibrant waterfront area, brick sidewalks, and beautifully preserved 18th and 19th-century buildings. The neighborhood is home to many restaurants, shops, and boutiques, as well as several art galleries and museums.
The city also boasts many parks and outdoor recreational areas, including the George Washington Memorial Parkway, which offers scenic views of the Potomac River and easy access to hiking and biking trails

If you have both an image gallery and a video you wish to feature, we'd recommend adding the video URL to the optional video field, this creates a tab structure so that site visitors can easily switch between the video and the image gallery. Each area is a "parent" element, neighborhoods belong to one and only one parent "area" - this allows your site visitors to view neighborhoods by featured areas.
