Home sales are up this week as compared to earlier this month across the Greater Washington D.C. area.

However closed sales are down as compared to this time last year.

The average days a house is for sale on the market has gone up to 14 which is notable as compared to the one or two days on the market from the spring and summer of 2022.

In Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia, there are fewer homes on the market than this time last year. Maryland has the most homes for sale this week followed by Virginia and Washington D.C.
